Hypnotherapy and NLPAlthough Hypnotherapy and NLP have been used for years to help people with issues such as stopping smoking, weight loss, better sleeping patterns, exam or driving nerves and alcohol problems, the particular blend of therapies I use is also very effective for work place or stress at home, anxiety, and depression, as well as relationship problems or personal growth. Hypnosis and NLP can help restore balance and peace of mind, and can help foster a greater sense of self. Hypnosis is a powerful tool and can facilitate rapid changes; sometimes one session is all that is required, e.g. some types of phobia and panic attack. Who Makes Change Happen?Some therapist believe that they alone have the power to make the client change. Other therapists believe that the client alone has the power to make the change. I have considerably enhanced my own sense of self, and I lead by example. You can expect to experience our sessions as supportive, but you will be gently challenged and confronted. Of course you will be treated with respect and integrity at all times. What I need from you:In order to make the changes you want, you will need to be to be motivated and active in your change process. Research shows that your motivation is the single most important factor influencing your outcome. The more you want it, the more likely you will get it. As with any other therapy, Hypnotherapy is something you need to be actively involved with. The way the brain is constructed makes it relatively easy to change patterns of behaviour, thoughts and feeling. However, maintaining a new pattern can be an altogether more difficult process and usually involves a fair degree of hard work, and so I may set you homework from time to time.
